2. Nature of Our Service — What We Are and What We Are Not
Buda Castle District (buda-castle-district.hu) is operated by Tickets LLC, an independent online concierge service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of the Matthias Church, Fisherman’s Bastion, Magdalena Tower, the Buda Castle Funicular, or any other attraction operator.
How our service works:
When you place an order through this website, you are purchasing a concierge assistance service from Tickets LLC. On your behalf and in your name, we purchase the relevant attraction tickets from the official ticket providers of each attraction. We then deliver those tickets to you by email.
We charge a concierge service fee in addition to the face value of the attraction tickets. This fee covers: sourcing tickets from official providers, verifying availability, processing your booking, and delivering confirmed tickets by email together with customer support before and during your visit.
For the avoidance of doubt, your contract for the concierge service is with Tickets LLC. The attraction operators are separate third parties and are not party to that contract. Tickets LLC’s obligations and liability in connection with that contract are defined and limited by these Terms.
3. Pricing and VAT Notice
In compliance with Directive 2000/31/EC (Article 5) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), prices are presented as follows:
- Ticket price: the face value of the attraction admission ticket(s) as set by the relevant attraction operator
- Concierge service fee: Tickets LLC’s fee for sourcing, processing, and delivering your tickets
- Processing fee: a payment processing fee may be added
- Total price: the combined amount you will be charged, shown clearly before you confirm your order
No hidden charges will be added at checkout beyond what is displayed in your order summary.
Direct purchase notice: The attractions featured on this website may also be booked directly through each attraction’s official website at a lower price that does not include a concierge fee or processing fee. Our service is intended for visitors who prefer the convenience of booking multiple attractions in one place with dedicated customer support.
Important VAT notice: Tickets LLC is a U.S.-registered LLC and is not currently registered for EU VAT or the EU non-Union One Stop Shop (OSS) scheme. We are in the process of reviewing our VAT obligations with respect to supplies made to EU consumers. If you are an EU consumer, you should be aware that EU VAT may be applicable to your purchase under the laws of your Member State. We recommend consulting your local tax authority if you require a VAT-compliant invoice. We will update this notice once our EU VAT position has been formalised.
4. Contract Formation
In compliance with Directive 2000/31/EC (Articles 10–11):
Steps to conclude a contract with us:
- Select your pass type and visit date on the website.
- Review your order summary, including the full itemised price breakdown (ticket price + concierge fee + any processing fee = total).
- Enter your contact and payment details.
- Review your order and click to confirm — this constitutes a binding offer from you to Tickets LLC.
- You will receive an automated acknowledgement of receipt by email immediately after submitting your order. This acknowledgement confirms we have received your order but does not yet constitute acceptance.
- A binding contract is formed when we send you a booking confirmation email containing your ticket(s) or confirmation that your tickets have been procured. We aim to do this within 1 business day.
You may correct input errors before submitting your order using the back button or edit functions on the checkout page.
Contracts concluded through this website are not stored by us after the transaction is complete and will not be accessible through our platform thereafter. We recommend saving your confirmation email for your records.
5. Right of Withdrawal — EU Consumers
Under Government Decree 45/2014 (Hungary’s implementation of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights), consumers purchasing through a distance contract normally have the right to withdraw within 14 calendar days without giving a reason.
5a. Withdrawal exclusion applicable to our service
Our concierge service is intrinsically linked to leisure activities tied to a specific date — namely your chosen visit date to the Buda Castle District attractions. Accordingly, the right of withdrawal does not apply to orders placed through this website once your tickets have been procured, pursuant to Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU as implemented in Government Decree 45/2014, Section 29(1)(l).
All bookings are therefore final and non-refundable once your booking confirmation has been issued and tickets have been procured on your behalf.
We strongly recommend that you:
- Carefully verify your selected date and time slot before confirming your order.
- Check that the attractions included in your chosen pass are open on your intended visit date.
5b. Our obligations if we fail to deliver
If Tickets LLC fails to procure and deliver valid tickets for your selected date and attractions, or if the service we provide is materially defective, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid regardless of the above exclusion. In such cases, please contact us immediately at buda.castle.district@gmail.com.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
6a. U.S. and Non-EU Customers — Strict No-Refund Policy
All sales are final. No refunds, cancellations, or exchanges are offered for any reason, except where expressly required by applicable law. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy and that Tickets LLC’s concierge service fee and any processing fee are non-refundable under all circumstances.
We strongly recommend that you verify your selected date, time slot, and attractions carefully before confirming your order.
6b. EU Customers — Minimum Statutory Exceptions
For customers resident in EU Member States, the following exceptions apply as required by mandatory EU and Hungarian consumer protection law and cannot be excluded by contract:
- Non-delivery: If Tickets LLC fails to deliver your tickets within 1 business day of confirmed payment and prior to your visit date, you are entitled to a full refund.
- Invalid tickets: If tickets delivered by us are invalid, not as described, or rejected at the attraction through no fault of your own, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement at our discretion.
- Pre-known attraction closure: If an attraction is officially closed on your booked date due to circumstances that were publicly announced before your booking was made and known to us at the time of booking, we will issue a full refund.
These exceptions reflect the minimum rights afforded to EU consumers under Directive 2011/83/EU and Act CLV of 1997 on Consumer Protection and do not constitute a general refund policy. All other sales are final.
To request a refund under any of the above circumstances, EU customers should contact us at buda.castle.district@gmail.com before or promptly after your visit date with your booking reference and a description of the issue.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TICKETS LLC PROVIDES THIS WEBSITE AND ITS CONCIERGE SERVICE ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE WEBSITE OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Note: Nothing in this section affects the statutory rights of EU consumers, which apply regardless of any contractual disclaimer.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
- TICKETS LLC’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
- IN NO EVENT SHALL TICKETS LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, TRAVEL COSTS, ACCOMMODATION COSTS, OR ANY OTHER INDIRECT LOSSES, EVEN IF TICKETS LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
- TICKETS LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF INDIVIDUAL ATTRACTION OPERATORS, INCLUDING CHANGES TO OPENING HOURS, CAPACITY RESTRICTIONS, ENTRY POLICIES, OR VISITOR EXPERIENCE.
EU consumers: The limitation of liability in this section does not exclude or restrict any liability that cannot be excluded under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Force Majeure
Tickets LLC shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, pandemic, government action, civil unrest, strikes, infrastructure failures, or failure of third-party suppliers. In such circumstances we will notify you promptly and make reasonable efforts to deliver your tickets or, where that is not possible, to offer an alternative or refund at our discretion.
10. Dispute Resolution — U.S. Customers
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
10a. Informal resolution first
Before initiating any formal dispute process, U.S. customers agree to contact Tickets LLC at buda.castle.district@gmail.com and provide a written description of the dispute and the relief sought. We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days of receiving your notice.
10b. Binding arbitration
If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or our service — including disputes about the validity, enforceability, or scope of this arbitration clause — shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Information about the AAA and its Consumer Arbitration Rules is available at www.adr.org.
10c. Class action waiver
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND TICKETS LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims and may not preside over any form of representative or class proceeding.
10d. Exceptions
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek emergency injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration. This arbitration clause does not apply to individual claims that qualify for small claims court in the jurisdiction where you reside.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute not subject to arbitration under Section 10 shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Washoe County, Nevada.
EU consumers: If you are a consumer resident in an EU Member State, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence apply in your favour and cannot be overridden by this governing law clause, as required by EU Regulation (EC) 593/2008 (Rome I). Nothing in these Terms deprives you of protections afforded by the mandatory laws of your country of habitual residence.

Tickets are delivered by email to the address you provide at checkout. No printed tickets are required — tickets can be presented on your mobile device at each attraction entrance.
We aim to deliver your tickets within 1 business day of payment confirmation. If you have not received your tickets within 1 business day of booking, please contact us at buda.castle.district@gmail.com before your visit date so we can resolve the matter in time.

Images of the attractions are used for informational and illustrative purposes only. If you believe any content infringes your rights, please contact us at buda.castle.district@gmail.com.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tickets LLC with respect to your use of this website and our concierge service, and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
18. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in applicable law or our service. The version in force at the time you place your order governs that transaction. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page before each booking.
